I was a young girl when my Dad first introduced me to the poem written by Paul Harwitz, Ride for the Brand. It speaks of the cowboy way of life, a life that embraces hard work, trust, and respect. A life, that lets no neighbor go hungry, that does not waste or ruin land. A life, in short, that is lived for a higher purpose. Many people often ask me about the emblem that appears on my website, the cowboy kneeling in front of three crosses. This design was created by my Dad and I to be a visual reminder about the way should be lived. So often we forget that we were put on Earth to serve Him, the Lord.
